Sea Ice with a look at Barrow’s Waters!

Comprehensive look at ocean conservation with videos and articles from different fields all linking to conservation

I had a roommate who studied sea ice off Barrow, he showed me this website that holds and records the coastal waters of Barrow year round.  This would be a great way for students to observe sea ice conditions and develop their own long term records understanding how sea ice changes over the seasons.

I like the records page. It’s a good one to bring it closer to home and see what’s actually going on. Nice privilege we have here in Alaska vs. the lower 48.

I like the Barrow site. It’s neat to use something from here in Alaska.
