Bennett’s Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Bennett and I am fascinated anything that has to do with the outdoors. I’m an avid bird watcher, backpacker, and kayaker. My undergraduate focus was in Biological Science with a strong focus in environmental conservation.  I’ve done research on everything from insects to ferns to humpback whales, but my passion lies with the birds.  Birds act as important explanations for environmental health, which makes them extremely vital in global ecosystem science. I switched from the ornithology program to the M.Ed. program so that I could share my passion, inspire, and hopefully motivate students to pursue their dreams. I believe that education is the key to fixing most of our world’s problems both within society and outside.  I hope that with this class I can learn more about our global systems, so to better educate future students.
