Ice Worms, Really?

Exposing my bias for Biology 🙂   I have selected ice worms as my topic of discussion for Alaska glaciers.   The link is to an older article about ice worm research in Alaska.   An interesting topic that may raise student interest as we do not generally think about glaciers as habitat for animals.   Connecting varied fields of study is key in getting students to understand the global nature of scientific study.

If you are in Cordova AK in early February you can attend the Cordova Ice Worm Festival.   Now in its 52 year!
