The resource I located is a page that lists a multitude of topics in the Earth Science field as well as links to other content areas. This site is not officially connected to the New York City school districts but is a peer vetted source of information for teachers.
I was very interested in the Misconceptions area and believe students would find that section interesting to explore. I found that students really enjoyed finding errors in textbooks or in teacher comments during lecture. Discussing how errors and misconceptions find their way into textbooks and education is a great start for a conversation about the nature of science.
