Ice Wedges, Polygons, and Pingos

https://arctic.fws.gov/permcycl.htm   This is from the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge website and has a step by step illustration of how ice wedges, polygons, and pingos are formed. This would be a good visual to help students with their understanding of  a few ways in which  water affects the tundra.
