This is not specifically about well water but I thought it was an interesting source about water use in Alaska. There is a pdf list called impaited waterbodies list. It gives a list of water and the source of the contaminants found. Very eye opening for sure. They are common locations.
Also included on this website is an interactive map of bodies of water that are contaminated. Very cool to use with students!
For an interesting read on groundwater use in Alaska I found an article on watershed.org. https://www.watershed.org/?q=node/279. You can order a groundwater atlas from them for about $4. Might be fun to peruse.
