This website has a dynamic map of Alaskan volcanoes, which when you hover your mouse over the dots that represent the volcanoes, gives you basic information, such as its name, last activity, elevation, and volcano type. I imagine using this as a search for types of volcanoes for the students, in the process teaching them about Alaskan volcanoes.
When students click on the dot of the volcano, it takes them to the Alaska Volcano Observatory which has information about each volcano. It also has the “restless volcanoes” listed on the front page. It includes useful links such as preparing for ashfall, different districts’ emergency websites, and more. This could be used more as a practical information guide for students.
