Southeast Alaska Seismicity

https://www.aeic.alaska.edu/maps/southeast_panhandle_map.html

This is a historical map of earthquakes in the area.  This goes back more than 100 years (1899 – 2004).  But students are very interested in their own area.  It seems easier to get them on step if the topic can relate to them at all.  It is a pretty simple site, but “somewhat” interactive and informational.  A scavenger hunt could be made from this site, for example.
