Earthquake this morning… 12:10 AM, did you feel it?

So you feel an earthquake here in Fairbanks, where do you go?   Here’s where I go:

https://www.aeic.alaska.edu/recent/sub/index.html

At this website you get a summary of the earthquakes parameters:
Local Time, Magnitude, and Region. Often the preliminary information changes as more information is available.

For the earthquake last night, the one mentioned in this posting’s header, this website had this posting in  nearly realtime:

12:10 AM AKDT Wednesday September 15th, 2010 3.14 ML in the central region of Alaska

The earthquake was rather jarring, because it was 5 miles east of Fairbanks.   At the website, one clicks on the individual entry for more detailed information and a map.

Mapped location of this particular earthquake (from AEIC website.)
