STEM videos at x-streamscience.com

Go to https://x-streamscience.com to download short videos surrounding science, technology, engineering, and math. The videos are about 5 minutes long and geared towards middle school students. The website also has teacher downloads and links to other great sites.

Even though these are videos designed for middle school science, I plan to use a couple in my 9th grade Earth Science class. We’re starting to study the characteristics of our atmosphere so I’m going to start Monday’s class with the 6 minute video on air pressure. Other x-streamscience.com  videos we might watch during this unit include “Convection Connection”, “Atmosphere Pie”, and “States of Matter.”  I’m still thinking…but I might follow up the videos with small table discussions.
